Eventide Homes is committed to improving and developing its facilities to meet the constantly changing needs of existing and potential residents.

20 Bed Special Needs Wing

We are currently in the planning stages of designing a 20-bed special needs wing and look forward to proceeding with this exciting project. Please bookmark this page for ongoing developments!

June and Harold Blake Lounge

Construction for this much-needed lounge room in our Currie House is expected to be completed early in 2010.

The funds for this project have been solely raised by the Stawell and district community. This is primarily due to the foresight of Eventide Homes’ resident Harold Blake who, in November 2008 at the age of 84, famously cycled 520 kms from Swan Hill to Port Fairy to raise awareness of the project.

His amazing effort paid off and since that time, we have received more than $17,000 raised through direct donations for this wonderful cause.

We think it only fitting that the lounge therefore be named after Harold and his late wife June as our very special thank you.
