Residential activities

Residents are encouraged to take part in a broad range of fun and stimulating social activities held at Eventide Homes on a daily basis.

The Glyn Cashin Hall is the hub of socialisation for most activities including:

Arts and crafts Barbecues Book club Brain gym, crosswords, bingo and games Church services and bible discussion groups Cultural events and celebrations Exercises including Tai Chi

Fundraising activities Gardening Indoor bowls Movies Shopping days via visiting local retail shops Singing and acting Special information sessions ie health and wellbeing Visiting mobile facilities

In addition, residents are also fully supported to attend activities that are happening in the broader Stawell community such as club functions, concerts, mature education classes, Men’s Shed workshop or just catching up with friends for coffee or a spot of shopping. We can arrange transport to and from venues as required, either with our own bus or local taxi.
